A tillage event is any record that a farmer enters to indicate that they conducted a tillage operation on a field on a given date.

A tillage practice is a way to classify how the soil was tilled during a tillage event—or if it was tilled at all.

You can use the following table as guidance to determine the appropriate tillage practice to enter for your tillage events.
