Measure API v2 summary

Overview 

In Measure API v0 outcomes are broken into separate Intervention and Inventory modules. Each requires a separate integration and has unique outcomes, terms used, and code paths. 

Measure v2 creates a single API with simplifies and unified input to get both intervention and inventory outcomes.

Benefits

1. For clients to easily get and understand all emissions and reductions numbers they need given a supply shed/project
2. For clients to be able to fit numbers into an inventory as well as specific intervention claims
3. For clients to track progress over time

Themes v2 enables

• Product simplification: a single set of terms and definitions to understand.
• Input unification
• Outcomes consistency: a single set of support units
• Sign alignment: positive signs are now always emissions
• Continued market alignment (FLAG, credit based protocols, Ecoinvent versions, etc.)
• Enablement of added calcs like LUC without major reworks

Requirements to upgrade

For both Intervention and Inventory API clients, an upgrade to Measure v2 will be required. v0 will continue to be supported for a period of time. Work with your customer success or account manager to determine upgrade schedule.
