Regrow enables GHG Protocol-compliant Scope 3 reporting by eliminating double-counting of emissions between Regrow’s Sustainability Insights (SI) and Monitoring, Reporting & Verification (MRV) or API datasets.
By integrating these two data products, Regrow provides a single, trusted source of emissions data and sets the stage for more powerful insights across our platform.
With this feature users can:

Prevent double-counting: Mask out Regrow MRV and mAPI program fields from SI KPIs.

Ensure compliant reporting: Automatically exclude MRV-quantified fields from SI emissions totals.

View residual outcomes: Report SI outcomes minus MRV outcomes (Residual KPIs) alongside MRV results (future development).
How? Sustainability Insights parcels (fields) that overlap with MRV or mAPI-quantified fields are now automatically flagged using Regrow’s data pipelines.
This masking powers Residual KPIs — emissions metrics that exclude all MRV and mAPI quantified fields, ensuring no overlap between your field-level and remote-sensed data sources.
Data Privacy
Regrow takes strong measures to protect customer and partner confidentiality:

We do not report acreage with or without field masking to avoid revealing the size of regenerative agriculture programs in specific areas—particularly in regions with high program concentration.

We are internally monitoring supply shed configurations to ensure they are appropriately set up for impact and risk reporting, while minimizing the risk of unintended disclosure.

This feature is restricted to programs that do not include subregions with field-level boundaries, further reducing the risk of identification.

In a future iteration, we plan to surface regenerative program outcomes and acreage in Sustainability Insights. These will only be shown for programs that are relevant to the company user and explicitly approved by any third-party partners running those programs.

Real-Time MRV & mAPI Updates
As new MRV or mAPI fields are quantified, Regrow’s event system automatically flags and excludes them from SI calculations in near real-time. This ensures your Scope 3 reporting stays accurate and continuously up-to-date as programs expand.
