Importing field boundaries through Farm Management Systems (FMS)

Log in to your FMS account to seamlessly import field boundaries into your MRV account.

🌱 Step 1:

Select the option labeled ‘Import from Farm Management System’ located in the "add fields" menu bar.

🌱 Step 2:

Select the appropriate window for the farm management system you intend to utilize.

🌱 Step 3:

Utilize your Farm Management System (FMS) password to access your farm management system. 

🌱 Step 4:

Upon successful login, you will be redirected to the MRV screen. From there, navigate to ‘Fields & Boundaries’, and then return to the ‘Import from Farm Management System’ option. You will now see that the required FMS window is illuminated with a green light, indicating a successful connection.

🌱 Step 5:

Re-select the FMS option that you are using. A window will open with filters providing options to either select fields via the farm or field drop-down options.

Select the fields you wish to import. It is important to clarify that this action does not automatically enroll these fields into the program. You will complete the enrollment process by confirming your selections in the MRV field list following the import.
Select ‘Import’:

🌱 Step 6:

After the fields have been successfully imported, you will be redirected to the home screen. Please proceed by selecting ‘Fields and Boundaries’.

You may now select the fields in which you wish to enroll in the program. Please confirm your selections to initiate the collection of historical data.

💡 Please be aware of the following important information:

Farm boundaries coming from your farm management system cannot be edited as it will be different from the original boundary, and we will lose the recorded management practices.
Please edit the boundary in your farm management system and re-import your fields or draw a new field.
