This article outlines the necessary steps to effectively edit field boundaries within the Regrow MRV platform.
🌱 Step 1:
Navigate to the Field & Boundaries Stage, select the desired field for editing, and click on the three dots located on the right side. Next, click on edit boundary.
🌱 Step 2:
Drag the field vertices to the desired location and hit save.
💡 Note:
- Please ensure that the smallest unit of land under the same management practice is enrolled as a field. For example: A 100ac field you rotationally split into two 50ac fields every few years should be enrolled as the two separate fields.
- Field boundaries should be as close to the real planting boundary as possible and should not include non-crop areas (roads, rivers, sheds, trees, wetlands), as this will skew crop statistics and affect recommendations.
- Farm boundaries imported from your farm management system are not editable as they may differ from the original boundary, potentially resulting in the loss of recorded management practices. To make necessary adjustments, please modify the boundary within your farm management system and re-import your fields, or alternatively, create a new field.
- To split fields, adjust the boundaries for the first field and then create a new field for the second half. To copy over field data, use the 'Duplicate field data' feature in the bulk edit options.
- To enter a field with non-ag land in the middle, please upload a shapefile or a geojson file for that field.
