Entering events data: Irrigation

This article provides detailed instructions on how to accurately input your irrigation events data.

Introduction

The launch of the MRV Data Platform 2.0 enhances the grower enrollment experience by ensuring greater accuracy, predictability, and scalability throughout the data input process.

This article offers comprehensive guidance on the precise input of your irrigation events data, covering start/end dates and methods.

It is advisable to input your crop events data before addressing any of the subsequent stages. This will ensure that the crop and crop year date range is accurately recorded, allowing for a label that is clearly displayed in the subsequent stages:

Entering irrigation data

1. The second column of the table features a toggle that allows you to specify whether an irrigation event occurred during that particular cultivation cycle. Indicate "No" if there were no irrigation events during that cultivation cycle. When the "No" option is selected, the subsequent data cells will be disabled, indicating that no further input is necessary.

  • Start and end date: For your convenience, input the relevant dates either manually or using the calendar option (date selector).
  • Irrigation Method: Choose the appropriate irrigation method from the drop-down menu.
Options Include: drip, sprinkler, furrow, subsurface drip, and flood.
    • Note: When furrow is selected, the cell for Flood percentage will become accessible for data entry.
    • Note: When Subsurface drip is selected, the cells for Subsurface drip depth and unit will open for data entry.
